Trichloroisocyanuric acid was used as a disinfection reagent in the transformation of benzophenone-3 in chlorinated water. It was also used in the synthesis of 2-halomethylene-3-oxoketoximes. TCCA can also be used to bleach the textile, to prevent wool from shrinkage, to stop eatting paper by moth, and ast as rubber chlorination.
